1. bite off more than one can chew : 감당할 수 없는 일을 벌이다
• John is stressed. I think he's bitten off more than he can chew.
• 존이 스트레스받고 있어. 내 생각에 그는 감당할 수 없는 일을 벌인 것 같아.
2. figure something out : 답을 찾다 / 해결하다
• I don't understand this problem / Maybe you can figure it out.
• 그 문제를 이해 못하겠어. / 아마 답을 찾을거야.
3. fill in for someone : 일을 대신하다
• While I was on vacation, Mary filled in for me.
• 내가 휴가인 동안, 매리가 내 일을 대신했어.
4. in the black : 흑자
• This year business was great! / We've been in the black all year.
